We viewed a couple of road sweeper specifications from different suppliers. Hako was able to bring a demo vehicle out to Brisbane Grammar School for a full demonstration of the road sweeper’s capabilities, allowing our grounds staff to trial and view the quality and robustness of the machine.

We are excited to be receiving out new sweeper this week, it will assist with noise pollution and dust suppression currently created by our five grounds staff, each using a petrol blower every morning, to round up piles of leaves and debris, then loading it into vehicles, and again off-loading into skips, the new sweeper and operator will do all this, plus it pressure washes and scrubs as it goes!

The new sweeper will also free up some of our grounds staff to commence other grounds and gardening duties.
