Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I buy a Wizzard floor scrubber in Australia?
Hako Australia sells and supplies the Wizzard walk-behind floor scrubber range nationwide. Our team can assess your floor types and cleaning requirements, arrange a free onsite demonstration and recommend the most suitable model and brush configuration.
Can I hire, rent or lease a Wizzard scrubber machine?
Hako Australia offers purchase, hire, rental and leasing options across its commercial cleaning machine range, subject to availability and operational requirements. Contact our team to discuss the most suitable arrangement.
What is the difference between the Wizzard models?
The main differences are cleaning width, tank capacity, output and power source. The W24N has a 215 mm cleaning width, the W34 models have a 315 mm width, and the W44P has a 420 mm width. The W34B is battery powered, while the other four models use mains electricity.
Which Wizzard model is battery powered?
The W34B is the cordless model. It uses a 24 V / 10 Ah battery and provides up to 50 minutes of runtime, depending on floor conditions, brush pressure and the level of soiling.
Does the Wizzard dry the floor as it cleans?
Yes. The machine applies cleaning solution, scrubs the surface and uses a drum conveyor and wiper system to collect dirty water into the recovery tank in a single pass. Floors are generally ready to walk on within minutes.
What floor surfaces can the Wizzard clean?
With the appropriate brush, the Wizzard can clean smooth concrete, vinyl, rubber-studded flooring, ceramic, marble, granite, mosaic and aluminium checker plate. Suitability depends on the surface condition and brush selected, so Hako can recommend the correct setup.
Can the Wizzard clean escalators and travelators?
An optional specialist escalator brush is available. The suitability of a particular model and brush depends on the escalator or travelator design, so the application should be assessed by Hako before use.
Are different brushes available for the Wizzard?
Yes. Available options include hard and soft cylindrical brushes, a side brush and a specialist escalator brush. Brushes can be changed without tools, and the machine provides four stages of brush-pressure adjustment.
